Tieguanyin was named by Emperor Qianlong. It belongs to the green tea category among the six major tea categories in China. It is also known as Oolong tea and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Green tea is the tea with the most complicated processing technology and belongs to semi-fermented tea. Its aroma is strong, the tea taste is apparent, and it has rich taste levels. Tieguanyin is rich in substances, can be brewed repeatedly, and exudes a rich orchid aroma, which makes it have the reputation of "seven brews with lingering fragrance".

Tieguanyin is mild in nature and suitable for drinking by people with different physiques. It also has healthcare and wellness benefits, helping to eliminate stagnation and greasiness, lose weight and breaks down fat. The theanine in tea can also help us reduce anxiety and tension, calm the mind and reduce stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Title
How do I choose the right tea capsule size?
Large tea capsules contain more tea leaves than small ones, resulting in a stronger brew. If you prefer bold flavors, opt for the large capsules. Additionally, you can choose based on the machine model you use.
Do you offer a recycling service?
Yes. Please store used tea capsules in a TEA CHÂTEAU recycling bag or sealed plastic bag and bring them to any TEA CHÂTEAU boutique for recycling. Please note that pop-up stores do not offer this service.
Are the tea capsules only compatible with TEA CHÂTEAU brewers?
No. Our tea capsules are also compatible with Nespresso Original series and Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machines. However, using a TEA CHÂTEAU brewer ensures the best flavor. Compared to standard capsule machines, our brewers feature pre-infusion technology, delivering richer aromas and more complex tea profiles.
