Supreme Longjing is known as the first sip of fresh tea in spring. It tastes light with a grassy green infusion, and a soft and tender texture. It tastes sweet with a prominent profile.

Supreme Longjing has been requested by emperors for thousands of years, and its most important purpose is to be delivered to the palace before the Ching Ming Festival for the emperor to worship ancestors, and then share it with the royal family and close officials. After a long winter, the nutrients in the tea tree have been fully accumulated, coupled with the low temperature in early spring, the content of theanine in tea buds before Ching Ming Festival is relatively higher, and the content of tea polyphenols is relatively lower.

Temperature has a great influence on Longjing. In the spring tea season, the higher the temperature, the lower the quality of the tea, and the lower the temperature, the better the quality.

How should I choose the tea capsule size?

Large capsules contain more tea leaves than small capsules, resulting in a richer and more intense flavor. If you prefer stronger tea, we recommend choosing large capsules. You can also select the appropriate size based on the machine you are using.

Do you offer a recycling service?

Please place used capsules into a TEA CHÂTEAU recycling bag or any sealed plastic bag, and return them to any TEA CHÂTEAU retail store for recycling. Kindly note that pop-up stores do not provide recycling services.

Are the capsules only compatible with TEA CHÂTEAU tea machines?

No. Our capsules are also compatible with Nespresso Original line machines and Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machines. However, for the best flavor experience, we recommend using a TEA CHÂTEAU tea machine. Compared to standard capsule machines, our tea machines feature a pre-infusion technology that enhances aroma and delivers a richer, more layered taste.
